Veteran’s Guest House Testimonials
“My husband and I stayed at the House last weekend because our son Steven had an appointment at the VA late Friday. We were so impressed with how clean, organized and how well decorated the House is, and it was also so comfortable. We will definitely be donating to the cause on a regular basis. We brought home all the info with us. Thanks again for all you do for Veterans and their families.”
“I came to the Veterans Guest House when my husband was sick. I want to say thank you for the love and friendship that you gave me. You let me stay to bring him home where he has since died. God Bless you! Vicki & Family”
“You gave me a new life by providing shelter and food in my time of greatest need. You send me money because I might be in need. You provide big smiles whenever I stay with you. You treat me and all others like we are special. You feed me. You do all of this and then, with a smile, tell me to come back soon. I want to thank each angel working there.”

“Thank you so much for the kindness and blessings you poured out on our family. The children loved the museum and it turned this time of sorrow to a little bit happier of time! Thank you for allowing us to stay during this time of our son’s healing. The peace of knowing we could stay without worry was great.”
“Thank you for giving my wife a safe place to stay while I was in the hospital.”
“Thanks so much for opening your hearts and home. This House is filled with amazing, wonderful, heartfelt people. I didn’t think I would ever meet and make so many new friends. By taking care of me, you also helped take care of my Dad, and for that, I will always be grateful. I will miss seeing everyone – my 3 ½ month stay felt like being at home. You are all awesome people. God Bless.”
“Let me start by saying this house and the concept is amazing. The people who make everything run and work together are great! I stayed here a few times while my grandfather was in the hospital. My Mom was able to be with him the entire time. This House became her second home.
Thank you for taking care of her too. The people who work here and the visitors are some of the most amazing people with some of the best backgrounds and stories. It is wonderful to be around so many people who care – you really feel loved and wanted. Thank you so much for the hospitality.”
“Thank you, thank you again for this wonderful port in a storm!”
“Thank you for having such a pleasant place to stay – what a relief in an emergency. God Bless you”
“Words cannot express our heartfelt thanks for all that you do for your guests. You took my son and I in as though we were family during my brothers stay in ICU. Your location made it so easy to be with him day or night. He left us to be with the Lord. God Bless you all! We will never forget your kindness.”
“Our husband and Father passed away September 27th from a fall. We want to express our gratitude to the community and to all the staff at the Veterans Guest House for granting to us a home away from home. What a wonderful place of hope and light in dark days. Thank you again.”
“It is so wonderful to have people like you supporting our men and women who have served our country. Recently, the Guest House was a haven for a family who lost their brother. Two of the surviving brothers stated that the family was only able to see their brother in his last days and attend his military funeral together if the Guest House had been here to provide lodging for them. Your donation does make a difference. It helped supply a much-needed sanctuary for this family and many others. Thank you for your support.”
