Why Volunteer
Whether you are looking to volunteer once or become a familiar face, we have many opportunities for you to support our veteran community!
-Individual- Help guests check-in, spread the word of VGH services at community events, keep our kitchen stocked with plentiful treats, or assist in a variety of day-to-day needs to keep VGH clean and comfortable for guests.
- Group volunteering- Gather your friends and prepare dinner, get your hands dirty helping in the garden, or help spread holiday cheer by decorating, there are a variety of group activities available to give back while bonding with your team.
Volunteering makes a big difference to the Guest House, whatever time you can spare. We have small and large tasks to be accomplished in our big goal of providing caring support to our Veterans and their families during times of medical need."

olunteers are needed weekly Monday thru Friday from 10am to 3pm to help with household chores and administrative support.

Guests always appreciate a hot meal! We ask that you plan to feed 20 people; you are also welcome to stay and visit with our guests when dinner is served!
